About company

Nuuna was founded in Germany in 2012 by the creators of the "brandbook" brand, Lars Harmsen and Michael Steinhauser. Both were fascinated by the design, quality and functionality of notebooks, while noticing a lack of innovative solutions in this field. So they decided to create a brand that would combine a traditional approach to notebook production with innovative technologies and the use of top-quality materials. The name Nuuna comes from the Latin word "nunna," meaning "now" or "here and now," which alludes to the idea that every word written in a notebook is important and unique.

In 2014, the brand was honored with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award for its notebooks from the "Graphic" collection, and in the following years it won many other awards.
