Wise Habit Library of Sustainable Materials
Design and Architecture as a starting point for change
Design is more than aesthetics, it’s the beginning of the impact we make on the world. From the earliest conceptual stage, the materials we choose shape not only the outcome of a project but also its environmental footprint.
At Wise Habit, we believe that architects, designers, and creators need a modern tool that not only supports them in making responsible decisions but also genuinely simplifies their everyday work. Through expert material selection, tailored consultations, and direct connections with manufacturers, the Library of Sustainable Materials provides professionals with the space and support they need to act. Because today, time is one of the most valuable resources.

The Library as a center of knowledge and practice
The Library of Sustainable Materials is both a physical space in Warsaw and an online platform offering a broad collection of innovative, sustainable, and regenerative materials.
Each collection featured in the library considers essential aspects such as raw material origin, product life cycle, biodegradability or recyclability, and practical applications in design.
The library also serves as a knowledge hub for our in-house design team, which received the iF Design Award in 2024. Today, we collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, and developers to collectively transform the way we build.
Our collection features materials from over 50 European brands and the number continues to grow.
Visit the Wise Habit Library of Sustainable Materials and become part of a community of architects and designers shaping a more sustainable world.

Examples of materials you’ll find in our library
Internal walls
Our collection includes biodegradable cladding made from agricultural waste, hypoallergenic wallpapers crafted from natural herbs and leaves, and locally produced thin-layer clay plaster. It’s complemented by handcrafted terrazzo panels made from recycled ceramic waste.
Thermal insulation
You’ll find vapor-permeable insulation based on natural fibers, waterproof insulation boards free from formaldehyde, and durable hemp-based insulation. The selection also includes a lightweight, functional alternative to MDF, ideal for furniture and doors.
Floor
Our flooring collection features flexible coverings made from 67% bio-based materials, designed specifically for high-traffic public spaces.
Acoustic
In the field of acoustics, we showcase innovative knitted panels made from recycled polyester, acoustic tiles made of wood wool, and fully bio-based panels composed of cellulose, wheat bran, and natural binders. The collection is completed by organic panels made from mycelium, combining functionality with a soft, natural aesthetic.
Construction
We present an innovative wall system built from straw and renewable wood. This solution is free from thermal bridges and supports a healthy indoor microclimate.
Furniture
In our furniture category, you’ll find through-dyed fiberboards using organic pigments, panels made from recycled PP and PS plastics, and composites created from paper and PetroFree™ resin. The collection is enriched with innovative veneers made from repurposed textile waste and bio-based fibers.
External walls
We offer bricks made of up to 96% construction waste, manufactured through a low-energy, closed-loop process.
Acoustic insulation
For exterior acoustic solutions, our collection includes a natural mat made from locally sourced seagrass, fire-resistant, durable, and environmentally friendly.

Expanding possibilities
In 2025, the Library of Sustainable Materials hit the road, showcasing its offering at prestigious industry events: ARCHITECT@WORK in Warsaw (May 28 - 29) and Prague (June 18 - 19). The exhibition "Sustainable Home - Materials and Solutions", curated by Wise Habit, received great interest, confirming the growing need for knowledge and tools in sustainable design.
