About the product
Straps made of Desserto® are available in gray or black. They perfectly harmonize with the minimalist design of the Mudita Moment watch. The production of Desserto® "leather" is made possible by treating cacti, so no animal suffers in its manufacture.
Each strap is equipped with a 316L stainless steel buckle, and the Quick Pin telescope will allow you to quickly change the strap with a single click.
Strap maintenance
The Desserto® leather strap can handle splashes of water that happen during daily use of the watch, but we recommend that you do not soak the straps while showering, bathing or swimming. Clean with a damp, clean cloth without detergent, do not machine wash. When worn out, recycle the metal parts and dispose of the straps in the mixed waste garbage can. For hygienic reasons, we recommend replacing the strips every six months.
Sustainable production
Production begins in Mexico on a cactus plantation. No fertilizers or irrigation are needed - just local soil, rain and Mexican sunshine - that's all the cacti need to grow. The mature leaves are cut off without damaging the rest of the plant. Interestingly, the cut off leaves are dried in the sun to minimize energy consumption throughout the material production process. At the same time, they produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide thus contributing to reducing the carbon footprint, another advantage of Desserto® leather belts.
