Batteries anew: How LG is reviving the idea of recycling.

Why is battery recycling so important?
Batteries, especially those used in electronic devices, contain chemicals that can be very harmful to the environment, if not disposed of properly. Recycling them recovers valuable raw materials such as lithium, cobalt, or nickel, which can be reused in the new battery manufacturing process. It also reduces the need to extract new raw materials, which has a positive impact on the environment.
