Detailed description
About the product
Oskar Zięta's Tafle IQ mirrors are an art form resembling a futuristic obelisk suggesting non-standard arrangements. Thanks to their size and character, they dominate the spatial, reflecting the threads of light encountered in their surface. Standing or hanging, situated vertically or horizontally, they are a story in themselves.
The mirrors were made using FiDU technology, which is the result of free deformation of metal by internal pressure. This process results in objects with great strength, yet subtle structure. Like Zieta Studio's first mirrors, Tafla Q is monomaterial, made entirely of a single raw material. FiDU technology brings out the magical face of steel and allows us to create objects with unique shapes out of it.
About the designer
The designer of this unique item is Oskar Zięta, whose innovative approach to metal production is evident in every detail of the products. Zięta uses advanced technology and the process of material deformation, which turns every seemingly ordinary object into a unique work of art.
About the brand
Zieta Studio's objects straddle the line between art and technology. They reflect Oskar Zięta's research into the physical properties of steel, captured in the FiDU production method. Uneven planes with artistic deformations provoke our gaze, encouraging us to see reality from a different perspective. Optically subtle, they embrace a state-of-the-art metalworking technique in which sustainability plays a key role. These include mirrors that resemble sculptures and sculptures that resemble mirrors. Collector's items that will last for generations.
