The linear pendant lamps from the Apolin collection are lightweight, modernist pieces created with the well-being of users in mind, offering the possibility of adjusting light intensity and color. This ensures that the lighting can seamlessly accompany daily work and rituals, perfectly matching the needs of the moment and the time of day.
Apolin lamps are built to be repaired, maintained, and passed down through generations, in line with the philosophy of responsible design—where form and function are equal and mutually supportive.
The Apolin collection draws inspiration from the legacy of the Polish metalworks MEOS and ZAOS, with its name paying homage to the eminent constructor Apolinary Jan Gałecki. In the 1950s–70s, a scarcity of raw materials encouraged designers to create durable and functional solutions—values that remain essential and align with the principles of sustainable and responsible design.
Created in collaboration with Grynasz Studio, the Apolin collection launches the Kaspa by Designers series—a line of lamps designed for Kaspa by Polish designers. Marta Niemywska-Grynasz and Dawid Grynasz, the creative minds behind Grynasz Studio, enjoy experimenting with new materials and technologies while drawing inspiration from Poland’s rich craftsmanship and design heritage. Their work is guided by the principles of sustainable design and respect for the planet’s resources.
